INQUIRY & COMMUNICATION

Our process begins with the review of customer inquiries and orders. A dedicated project team is then formed to conduct technical discussions, leading to the confirmation and placement of the formal order.

 Finalizing & Placing the Formal Order.

MOLD PREPARATION & DESIGN

During this stage, we focus on receiving and tracking materials, overseeing mold fabrication, and preparing for trials. Mold trials are executed and documented, with T1 samples submitted for customer approval. Post-approval, we advance to small-batch trial production and compile a summary report.

PROCESS RECORDING & REVIEW

To conclude the project, DAMAG Diecast institutes standard operating and inspection procedures (SOP/SIP). Project documentation, including mold management cards, is completed for full traceability and control. We also enact continuous improvement measures to optimize future processes and outcomes.

MOLD MAKING & TRIAL

We systematically execute mold design and preparation in this stage. This entails creating the technical mold document, conducting design reviews, confirming suppliers and standards, obtaining customer design approval, and ultimately defining the mold production process and schedule.

 Prepare the mold making standard document;
 Hold new mold design review meetings;
 Confirm material and component suppliers;
 Finalize technical requirements and standards;
 Conduct modeling, product structure, and mold flow analysis;
 Review the 2D/3D mold structure design;
 Obtain customer confirmation on mold design;
 Plan the mold making process and schedule;
 Control the procurement process;
 Inspect mold materials and standard parts.
